By accessing or using ShopSaver, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Your continued use of the ShopSaver website following the posting of any changes to the Agreement represents acceptance of said changes.
1. About the Service
ShopSaver provides a price-comparison and offer-discovery service. We aggregate product data, prices and availability from third-party merchants and public sources and refresh our index daily. We aim for accuracy but cannot guarantee completeness or that information is always current. Always verify price, stock and terms on the merchant’s site before purchasing.
2. We Are Not the Seller
ShopSaver does not sell products or process orders. Purchases are completed on the merchant’s website, and your contract of sale is with that merchant (including payment, delivery, returns, and warranty).
3. Ordering & Ranking of Offers
Offers are displayed from lowest to highest price based on the data available at the time of refresh. Commercial partnerships do not influence the order in which offers appear.
4. Affiliate Links & Fees (Free for Consumers)
ShopSaver is free to use. Some outbound links are affiliate links; if you purchase, the merchant may pay us a small commission. This does not change the price you pay.
5. External Links & Third-Party Content
ShopSaver links to websites operated by third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability, policies or practices. Links and brand names are for identification only and do not imply endorsement.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the service for lawful, personal purposes only. You must not interfere with or attempt to disrupt the service, nor access the Website through any automated means, including but not limited to the use of automated coding scripts, website scrapers or website crawlers, except in the case of search engine crawling. Any unauthorized automated access is strictly prohibited.
7. Intellectual Property
ShopSaver’s site, logo, and UI are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Third-party trademarks and logos are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.
8. Privacy & Data
ShopSaver does not collect consumer personal data. We only record basic, aggregate statistics such as the number of clicks and certain non-identifying parameters to improve the service. We do not create user profiles or gather personal data. However, this policy will likely evolve, and user profiles may eventually be introduced to provide better and/or additional services to clients.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Information may be delayed, inaccurate or incomplete, and availability or pricing can change without notice. ShopSaver cannot make any guarantees that any information is correct or be held liable for any actions taken based on the product and pricing information provided. Furthermore, ShopSaver can’t be held responsible for any damage or loss resulting from any business conducted with any company listed on ShopSaver.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShopSaver will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary losses or damages, or for any losses arising from transactions with third-party merchants. If you are dissatisfied with the service, your sole remedy is to stop using it. No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained by you from us or through or from the site shall create any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions.
11. Governing Law
This service is intended primarily for users in Ireland and prices are generally shown in EUR. These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you may have under applicable law.
12. Changes to the Service and These Terms
We may update the service or these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
